Adding Templates to Adobe Captivate 4

Adobe Captivate 4

introOur image templates work best when using a course size, also known as it's resolution, of 1024 X 768.  If you're unsure of your projects resolution it's easy to check your course size.  We also have instructions on how to resize our template images using Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Step 1

  • Open your Captivate file.
  • Select the Slide Properties menu button to open the Slide Properties window.
  • Select the Quality dropdown and choose High.
  • Select the Change background image... button.  You may have to select the Import button if you already have images in your course library.

Edit your slide properties.

Step 2

  • Browse to your template package folder on your computer and select the [template name]_TitleSlide.jpg that came with your template.
  • Select the Open button to continue.  You will be returned to the Slide Properties window.

Browse to and add your template image.

Step 3

Select the OK button to insert your template as the background for your slide.  Your images will now be added to the backgrounds folder of your course library.

Select OK

Complete!

Step 4

Insert a new slide and repeat the above steps for slide 2 of your course using the [template name]_ContentSlide.jpg of your template.

Congratulations you've successfully inserted your template slides into your Captivate project.  If you have any questions feel free to send us a message.
